Mirrors (HR Coatings)
Since 1986 LASER COMPONENTS has manufactured high power laser
mirrors and established itself as the market leader of high
damage thresholds for Nd:YAG laser mirrors. Dielectric coatings
for the wavelength range from 193 nm to 5 μm are available.
The mirrors are available for all angles of incidence and also
as dichroic beam splitters.
Output Couplers / Beam Splitters (PR
Coatings)
Our partially-reflecting coatings are used for output couplers
(0° angle of incidence) and beam splitters (45° angle of incidence).
We also manufacture broadband low dispersion coatings for fs
laser applications, for example
Protective Windows
For quite some time the laser serves as reliable tool for industrial
material processing. Especially CO2 lasers and solid state lasers,
such as Nd:YAG, are used for cutting, welding, and engraving.
To protect the high quality laser optic from
material splatters that occur during processing so-called
protective windows are used as the final optic before the
working area. Usually these windows are made from inexpensive
substrates of little demanding surface quality and surface
