Fairchild Imaging introduced solid state sensors to commercial markets
in the 1970s and continues to provide advanced imaging solutions
for a range of industrial markets. Typical applications for this
technology are close tolerance inspection or dimension control to
assure product quality, automated process monitoring and control,
industrial inspection, x-ray non-destructive testing, film digitization,
security, and laboratory instrumentation.
Our equipment is used throughout the industry in
robotics, processing inspection, food, beverage, confectionery and
pharmaceuticals.
Our customers use these sensors and cameras to inspect liquid flows,
bottles, cans, boxes, mail, luggage, packages, lumber and many other
products. Our devices are also used worldwide in the semiconductor
and electronic chip industry to visually inspect wafers and circuitry
on ICs and PCBs.
These products have been designed for reliability
in harsh environments. They provide excellent performance at high
speed and low light levels.
Many of these devices include special features such as low light
levels, anti-blooming/integration control, correlated double sampling
and extended blue response.
Fairchild Imaging has multiple product offerings
and OEM customers in this market. These products range from simple
CCD & CMOS components used in process control to complex X-ray
diffraction cameras for use in pharmaceutical development.
If you require high-sensitivity, high-resolution
and high-speed capabilities, then Fairchild Imaging has the CCD
& CMOS line arrays, area arrays or TDI arrays & cameras
that you require.
